ARNOLD RAWLS - AGAMENNONE

Arnold Rawls, tenor, returns to Teatro Grattacielo following his outstanding performances in our productions of L’Oracolo and Il Piccolo Marat. He made his debut at The Metropolitan Opera in 2010-11 as Manrico in Act II of Il Trovatore replacing an ailing Marcello Alvarez. Since then he has sung his signature roles of Calaf, Bacchus, Andrea Chenier, Walther, Hagenbach, Radames, and Canio, with opera companies around the world.
Alessandra Volpe - cASSANDRA

Alessandra Volpe, Mezzo-soprano, has appeared in many of the world’s great opera houses including La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, the Bayerische Staatsoper, Glyndebourne Festival, Welsh National Opera, and Teatro Massimo di Palermo, among many others in a wide range of repertoire including her signature role Carmen. She graduated summa cum laude from the Conservatorio Niccolò Petruzzelli in Bari in piano and vocal studies in 2010.
ELENA O’CONNOR - Clitennestra

Elena O’Connor, a native of Rochester, NY, studied at the Eastman School of Music and has won numerous vocal competitions including the Schloss-Leopoldskron Competition in Salzburg, the Aspen Festival Vocal Concerto Competition, and the Palm Beach Opera International Voice Competition. She has appeared in leading roles including Bess, Micaëla, Musetta, and Tosca as well as extensive concert appearances.
Stefanos Koroneos - IL PROLOGO

Stefanos Koroneos, baritone, made his professional debut as Schaunard in La Bohème at the Staatstheater in Freiburg. Since then he has sung at major theaters throughout the world including La Scala, the Bolshoi, Teatro Reggio di Parma, Rossini Opera Festival, Teatro Giglio in Lucca, Athens Opera, Connecticut Grand, Tampa, and Fresno. He studied at the G. Verdi Conservatory and Pesaro’s Rossini Academy with Antonio Zedda and Sesto Bruscantini.
Shea Owens - Egisto

Shea Owens, baritone, making his New York debut in Cassandra, received his Bachelor of Music from Brigham Young University and his Master of Music from Rice University. He has appeared with the opera companies of Santa Fe, Wolf Trap, Phoenix, Central City, and both the Utah Festival and Utah Lyric Operas and won awards from the Gerda Lissner Competition, the Pasadena Opera Guild, and an Emerging Artist Award from Opera Index.
